Özet

Kistik menejiomlar seyrek olarak görülürler ve genellikle supratentoryal bölgede yerleşirler. Tümörün kistik oluşu bu tümörlerin operasyon öncesi tanınmasını güçleştirebilir. Bu çalışmada 36 yaşında, bu tür tümörler için çok seyrek bir lokalizasyon olan pontoserebellar köşe yerleşimli bir kistik menenjiom olgusu sunulmakta ve tartışılmaktadır.

Abstract

Cystic meningioma is a rare type of meningioma which is found mainly in the supratentorial region. The cystic nature of the mass can cause difficulty in the pre-operative diagnosis of these tumours. A 36-year old patient with a cystic meningioma at the cerebellopontine angle, a very rare location for this type of meningioma, is presented and discussed.
