Özet

Kronik subdural hematom zarlarında %0.32.7 oranında kalsifikasyon görülmektedir.Genellikle travma sonrası subdural hematomlarda görülmesine rağmen, nadiren hidrosefalikhastalarda ventriküloperitoneal shunt sonrası da bildirilmiştir. Hidrosefali içinventriküloperitonel shunt uygulanan kalsifiye kronik subdural hematomlu iki hastayı sunmayıamaçladık.

Abstract

Calcification occurs in the membranes of chronic subdural hematoma in the range of 0.3% to2.7%. Although usually seen in cases with posttraumatic subdural hematoma, few patientswith hydrocephalus after ventriculoperitoneal shunt have also been reported. We aimed todescribe two patients presented with calcified chronic subdural hematoma afterventriculoperitoneal shunt used for hydrocephalus.
