TURİZM ALANINDA YAZILMIŞ KRİZ VE KRİZ YÖNETİMİ KONULU LİSANSÜSTÜ TEZLERİN BİBLİYOMETRİK ANALİZİ

BIBLIOMETRIC ANALYSIS OF POSTGRADUATETHESES ON CRISIS AND CRISIS MANAGEMENT WRITTEN IN THE FIELD OF TOURISM

Özet

Bu çalışmada kriz ve kriz yönetimi konusunda yazılmış olan lisansüstü tezleri bibliyometrik olarak incelemek amaçlanmıştır. Bu amaç doğrultusunda Yükseköğretim Kurulu’nun lisansüstü tezleri yayınladığı veri tabanından yararlanılarak ulaşılan 2001-2021 yılları arasında yazılan 46 adet lisansüstü tez incelenmiştir. Yapılan analiz sonucu konuya olan ilginin son yıllarda arttığı dikkat çekse de söz konusu tezlerin sadece 8’inin doktora düzeyinde olduğu görülmüştür. Buna ek olarak tezlerin %97,8’inin Türkçe olarak yazıldığı ve tezlerde genel itibariyle nicel araştırma yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı tespit edilmiştir. Elde edilen bu verilerden hareketle turizmde kriz yönetimi konulu tez yazmayı planlayan araştırmacılara İngilizce başta olmak üzere yabancı dillerde ve karma araştırma yöntemlerinin kullanıldığı tezlerin yazılması önerilmektedir.

Abstract

In this study, it is aimed to bibliometrically examine the postgraduate theses written on crisis and crisis management. For this purpose, 46 postgraduate theses, which were reached by using the database published by the Council of Higher Education, were examined. Although it is noteworthy that the interest in the subject has increased in recent years as a result of the analysis, it has been observed that only 8 of these theses are at the Phd level. In addition, it was determined that the overwhelming majority of theses were written in Turkish and quantitative research methods were generally used in theses. Based on these data, it is recommended that researchers who plan to write a thesis on crisis management in tourism should write theses in foreign languages, especially in English, and in which mixed research methods are used.
