Sonuçta; Eğirdir Gölü'nden yakalanan havuz balıklarının sindirim sisteminde 35'i bitkisel, 11'i de hayvansal olmak üzere toplam 46 besin çeşidi tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

In this study, the digestive sytem contents of 350 Prussian Carp have been examined 177 ofthem were caught between March, 2001 and May, 2002 from Bafra Fish Lakes and 173 ofthem were caught between January, 2000 and September, 2003 from Eğirdir Lake . They werecaught using different kinds of nets and tackles. Organisms, obtained through the analysis ofthe digestive system contents of the Prussian Carp patterns were examined by Geometric Indexof Importances (GII) method. While Spirogyra, Lepidella, Insecta and Nematoda memberscan be consumed by caught from Eğirdir Lake samples, Bafra Fish Lakes samples have notobserved. Similarly; while it is possible to see Asterionella, Botryococcus, Gonium,Microcystis and Bosmina members have been consumed by caught from Bafra Fish Lakes,Eğirdir Lake samples have not observed. Consequently, 47 food items (38 organisms wereplants and 9 were animals) were found in the digestive system contents of the prussian carpfrom caught Bafra Fish Lakes. 46 food items (35 organisms were plants and 11 were animals)were found in the digestive system contents of the prussian carp from caught Eğirdir Lake. Asa result of Geometric Index of Importance, prussian carp is omnivorous.
