Özet

AMAÇ: Bu çalışma, ebelerin "Prenatal Tanı ve Antepartum Fetal Değerlendirme Yöntemleri ile ilgili" olarak bilgi düzeylerinin tespit edilmesi amacıyla planlanmıştır. MATERYAL ve METOD: Kocaeli İlinde yürütülmüş olan çalışmaya İl Sağlık Müdürlüğü'ne bağlı tüm merkez sağlık ocaklarında çalışan toplam 100 ebe alınmış, ayrıca örnekleme gidilmemiştir. Verilerin toplanmasında ebelerin prenatal tanı ve antepartum fetal değerlendirme yöntemleri konusundaki bilgi durumlarını ölçmek amacı ile ilgili literatür ve uygun soru sorma tekniklerinin kullanılması ile elde edilmiş olan anket formu kullanılmıştır. Elde edilen veriler SPSS programı ile bilgisayarda değerlendirilmiştir. BULGULAR: Fetal sağlığın değerlendirmesi konusunda kendilerinin danışmanlık rolleri olduğuna inanan ebelerin oranı % 79'dur. Ebelerin fetal sağlığın değerlendirilmesinde kullanılan yöntemler konusunda doğru bilgi verme oranları sırası ile; ultrasonografi (USG) için % 57, non-stres test (NST) için % 64, amniyosentez için % 90, maternal alfa fetoprotein tayini (AFP) için % 51, koryon villus biyopsisi (KVB) için % 54, fetoskopi için % 30, kordosentez için ise % 87 olarak elde edilmiştir. Abstract

OBJECTIVE: To determine the level of knowledge of midwives on methods of prenatal diagnosis and fetal wellbeing. STUDY DESIGN: One hundred midwives who work in central community polyclinics of City Health Administrative of Kocaeli has been enrolled. In order to find out the level of knowledge of midwives on methods of prenatal diagnosis and fetal well-being, a survey composed of appropriate questionnaire techniques and related literature has been applied. The data have been analyzed by the statistical computer software, SPSS. RESULT(s): The rate of midwives, who believe to have a counseling role in fetal well-being assessment was 79 %. The rate of midwives who obtained correct information on methods used in fetal well-being assessment was as follows: 57 % for ultrasonography (USG), 64 % for non-stress test (NST), 90 % for amniocentesis, 51 % for maternal serum alpha-fetoprotein (AFP), 54 % for chorionic villus sampling (CVS), 30 % for fetoscopy, 87 % for cordocentesis.
