Effect of actovegin and lipostabil on lipid peroxidation and antioxidant enzyme activity in the ulcerative stomach mucosa

Kronik, iyileşmeyen 2.5-5 yıllık ülser hikayesi olan 87 hastanın mide mukozasındaki yükselmiş lipid peroksidasyon ve antioksidan enzim inhibisyonunun düzeyleri değerlendirildi. Actovegin ve lipostabil tedavisi ile mide ülserlerinde bu değerlerin normal düzeye yükseldiği görüldü. Actovegin uygulaması ile lipid peroxide ve antioksidan sistem üzerinde daha güçlü bir teropatik etki saptandı.
Abstract
Elevated lipid peroxidation and inhibition of antioxidant enzymes was revealed in stomach mucosa homogenate of 87 patients with chronically non-healing stomach ulcer with the history of 2,5-5 years. Inclusion of actovegin and lipostabil in the therapy of stomach ulcer restored studied indices up to normal values. The more strong therapeutic effect on lipid peroxide and antioxidant system indices was observed in administration of actovegin.
