Özet

Her peygamberin kendine mahsus bazı özellikleri, diğerlerinde bulunmayanüstün yönleri vardır. Ama peygamberler içinde Hz. Peygamberin ayrı bir yeri bulunmaktadır. O Hak Teâlânın habîbi, insanlığın efendisidir. O kıyamet günününönderi, şefaat yetkisine sahip olanların ilkidir. Onda diğer peygamberlerde olmayan üstün haller, farklı özellikler vardır. Onun üstün halleri bütün yönleriyle tespit edilmiş, ilgili eserlerde bunlara yer verilmiştir. İmam Müslimin (ö.261/874)el-Câmius-Sahîh inde de Hz. Peygamberin hususiyetleriyle ilgili bir takım rivayetler eserin 43. bölümü olan Kitabül-Fezâil başlığı altında toplanmıştır. Makaledeadı geçen bölümde yer alan 46 bab ve 174 hadis içinde doğrudan Hz. Peygam- berle ilgili olanlardan yararlanılarak Onun sahip olduğu özelliklerin tespitine çalışılmıştır.

Abstract

Each prophet has some features and superior aspects that these are peculiarto him and others don t have. However, the Prophet Muhammad has more important place among other prophets. He is habībullāh and the master of humanity. He is also the leader of the day of Judgment and the first of those who havethe authority to intercede. He has also some superior features which other prophets don t have. These superior features were determined for all aspects andmentioned in related books. The hadiths about the superiority of the Prophetwere collected under the title of Kitāb al-Fadāil -which includes 43 chapters- inal-Jāmi al-Sahīh by Imām Muslim (d. 261/874). This paper, therefore, aims todetermine the characteristics of the Prophet by analyzing 46 chapters and 174hadīths which directly related to the Prophet in Kitâb al-Fadāil of al-Jāmi al- Sahīh.
