Sosyoloji, Türkiyede Batıdaki birçok ülkeyle eşzamanlı olarak kurumsallaşmışve alana ilişkin gelişmeler en başından itibaren yakından takip edilmiştir. Ancak budurum sadece bir izleme faaliyeti olarak kalmamış, Batı sosyolojisiyle kurulan yakınilişki ve katkılarla bir form kazanmıştır. Buna bağlı olarak bu süreçte, Batı sosyolo- jisinin önemli isimleri ve ekolleri ile kurulan ilişkinin boyutu, etki tartışmalarını daberaberinde getirmiştir. Ancak bu tartışmalar Türkiyede genellikle sadece etki ya dailham temelinde sürdürülmüş, böylece ekol ya da isimlerle kurulan ilişkinin özellik- lerinin çok boyutlu bir biçimde kavranması pek mümkün olmamıştır. Bu makaledeCumhuriyetin erken döneminde Max Weber sosyolojisiyle kurulan ilişkinin nitelik- leri tartışılacak ve bu ilişkinin kavranabilmesi için gerekli sosyolojik perspektif ortayakoyulacaktır.

Abstract

Sociology has been institutionalized concurrently with many countries inthe West and the developments in the field of sociology have been closely watchedfrom the very beginning in Turkey. But this was not only an activity of pursuit, andhad a form through close relations with and contributions of the Western sociology.Within this process, the dimension of the relation established with the important na- mes and schools of the Western sociology has brought the argumentations of imp acttogether. But, these argument s have been pursued on the basis of impact or inspirati- on in Turkey, therefore it was not possible to comprehend the characteristics of theserelations established with the schools or names at a multi-dimensional level. In thisarticle, the characteristics of the relation established with the sociology of Max Weberin early Republican era will be argued and the necessary sociological perspective tocomprehend this relationship will be revealed.
