Özet

Bu çalışma, Türk düşünce dünyasının önemli isimlerinden Sabri Ülgener’i, onun Osmanlı’dan günümüze Türkiye’nin sosyo-ekonomik ve yapısal sorunlarının analizinde kullandığı yöntem ve perspektifi konu almaktadır. Ülgener’in Weber ve Sombart gibi düşünürlerin modellerinden yararlanarak oluşturduğu kendi özgün analiz yöntemi ve teorik araçlarıyla yaptığı çözümlemeler mercek altına alınmakta ve sunulmaktadır. Bu çerçevede özellikle Osmanlı’da neden kapitalist üretim yapısına geçilemediği sorusu temelinde yaptığı çözümlemeler, geliştirdiği fikirler ve vardığı sonuçlar, bu çalışmanın ana temasını oluşturmaktadır.

Abstract

This study elicits the method and perspective used by Sabri Ulgener, a famous researcher in Turkish thought world, to analyze Turkey’s socio-economic and structural problems from Ottoman Empire times till today. The analysis conducted by Ulgener using his own analysis method and theoretical tools benefited from the models of philosopher such as Weber and Sombart are elicited and represented. The analysis he conducted mainly for the question why Ottoman Empire had not used the capitalist production system, the ideas he developed and the results he achieved are the main topics of this study.
