Çalışmamızın amacı, kronik total oklüzyon için uygulanan balon anjiyoplastinin primer başarısını ve uzun dönemde gidişini incelemek ve restenoza etkili faktörleri ortaya koymaktır. İskemik kalp hastalığı semptomu olan ve koroner anjiyografisinde total oklüzyon saptanan 45 hastaya (38 erkek, 7 kadın) perkutan transluminal koroner anjiyoplasti (PTKA) uygulandı. Abstract

The purpose of the study is to asses the primary success rate and long-term prognosis of percutaneous transluminal coronary angioplasty (PTCA) for chronic total occlusion and analyze factors that influence restenosis. Forty-five consecutive patients with ischemic heart symptom and total coronary occlusion were treated with PTCA. Primary success rate was 86% (n=39).
