Plotinus’un ‘Bir’ Anlayışı’nın Kindî’ye Etkisi

Özet

Kindî, Tanrı anlayışını kendi dinî temelleri üzerine felsefî terminoloji ve temellendirmeyikullanarak inşa etmiş bir filozoftur. Hakikate ulaşmada felsefeyi tutarlı bir bütün olarak gördüğüiçin felsefesinde ve dolayısıyla Tanrı anlayışında, Platon Aristoteles ve Yeni-Eflatunculuk’un izlerini görmek mümkündür. Bu makalede, Tanrı’nın sahip olduğu nitelikler açısından Kindî’nin görüşleri, Plotinus’un Bir’i ve onun felsefesinin İslam dünyasına taşınmasına kaynaklık eden eserlerden Aristo Teolojisi’nde yer verilen Tanrı anlayışı ile karşılaştırılacaktır. Böylece YeniEflatuncu geleneğin bu bağlamda Kindî’ye olan etkisi ortaya koymaya çalışılacaktır.

Abstract

Al-Kindi is a philosopher who constructed his understanding of God by using philosophical terminology and demonstrated on his own religious foundations. It is possible to see the influence of Plato, Aristotle and Neo-Platonism on his philosophy as he considers philosophy as a coherent whole in reaching the truth in his understanding of God. In this article, the views of AlKindi in terms of the attributes of God will be compared to “The One” of Plotinus and Theology of Aristotle which is source of Plotinus’ thought in Islamic World. Thus, it will be attempted to reveal the effect of New-Platonic tradition on Al-Kindi.
