Özet

Bazı dezenfektan ve antiseptiklerin farklı dilüsvonlarının: Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Staphvlococcus aureus (ATCC 25923) ve Candida albicans (CİP 628) üzerine in vitro etkinlikleri araştırılmıştır. % 4 kbrheksidin glukonat (Hibiscrub) ve % 10 povidon-iyot (İsosol)'ün tüm dilûsyonları 2 1/2 dakika bakterisit ve fungusit etki göstermiştir. % 98.7 sodyum dikloroizosiyanürat efervesan tabletleri (Sumatox) mikroorganizmalara karşı güçlü bir aktivite göstermiştir. % 1.5 klorheksidin glukonat +%15 setrimid (Savlon)'un tüm dilûsyonları S. aureus'a 2 1/2 dakika etkili olmuştur; E. coli ve P. aeruainosa üzerine C. albicans'tan daha etkin bulunmuştur. % 10 benzalkonyum klorit (Zefiran), S. aureus ve E, OOLüzerine P. aeruainosa'dan daha etkin bulunmuştur. C. albicans'a sadece kullanma konsantrasyonunda etkili olmuştur.

Abstract

The jn vitro antimicrobial activities of different dilutions of some antiseptics and disinfectants on Escherichia coli (ATCC 25922), Pseudomonas aeruginosa (ATCC 27853), Staphylococcus aureus (ATCC 25923) and Candida albicans (CIP 628) were investigated. All dilutions of 4% chlorhexidine gluconate (Hibiscrub) and 10% povidone-iodine (Isosol) produced bactericidal and fungucidal activity in 2 1/2 minutes. 98.7 % sodium dichloroisocyanurate effervescent tablets (Sumatox) also showed strong activity against the microorganisms. All dilutions of 1.5% chlorhexidine gluconate +15% cetrimide (Savlon) were effectivite on S. aureus in 2 1/2 minutes; it had greater effect on E. coli and P. aeruginosa than on C. albicans. 10 % benzalkonium chloride (Zefiran) was found to be more effective on S. aureus and E. coli than on P. aeruginosa: it was effective on C. albicans only in concentrations used for daily disinfection. The surface disinfectant Sacti-med S was found to be more effective on the microorganims than the instrument disinfectant, Sacti-med I. Only 1: 2 dilutions of 70 % ethyl alcohol affected E. coli. S. aureus and P. aeruginosa: 70 % ethyl alcohol was ineffective on C. albicans in all dilutions. The results revealed that the most effective antiseptics were 4% chlorhexidine gluconate and 10 % povidone-iodine.
