Özet

Fusarium ve Penicillium cinsi mantarların etken olduğu iki kornea apsesi, olgusu sunulmuştur. Hijyenik koşulları iyi olmayan 5 yaşındaki kız çocuğunun korneasından Penicillium cinsi, 34 yaşındaki minör kornea travması geçiren erkek hastadan alınan kornea kazıntısından ise Fusarium cinsi mantar izole edilmiştir.

Abstract

Two cases of cornea! abscess caused by Penicillium and Fusarium species are presented. The Penicillium species was isolated from the excised cornea/ material of a 5-year-old girl living in low hygienic conditions and Fusarium species was isolated from the cornea/ scrapings of a 34-year-old man who had had minor cornea trauma.
