Özet
Başkent Üniversitesi Nefroloji Kliniği Hemodiyaliz Ünitesi'nde Haziran 1996 - Aralık 1996 döneminde 113 hastaya yerleştirilen 157 çift lümenli subklavian katetere bağlı infeksiyon prospektif olarak incelendi. Tüm kateterlerde kateter infeksiyonu oranı % 28 idi ve katetere bağlı bakteriyemi hastaların % 23.5'inde gelişti. Kateter kültürlerinden izole edilen mikroorganizmaların % 59'u Staphylococcus aureus. % 13'ü Pseudomonas aeruginosa. % 7'si Escherichia coli. % 7'si Acinetobacter spp.. % 5'i Staphylococcus epidermidis. % 5'i Enterobacter spp.. % 2'si Enterococcus spp. ve % 2'si Candida spp. idi.
