Özet

Adana Kızılay Kan Merkezîne kan vermek amacıyla bavşuran 336'sı gönüllü, 2.751 'i asker toplam 3.087 kan vericisinin serum örneklerinde HBsAg'nin yanısıra anti-HCV ve anti-HIV 1/2 antikorları ELISA ile araştırıldı. Gönüllü kan vericilerinin 5 (% 1.5)'inde HBsAg, 3 (% 0.9)'ünde anti-HCV, 2.751 askerin 119 (% 4.3)'unda HBsAg, 8 (% 0.03)'inde anti-HCV olumlu bulundu.

Abstract

Beside HBsAg, anti-HCV, and anti-HIV 1/2 andibodies from the sera samples of the 336 voluntary, 2.751 soldier, a total of 3.087 blood donors applying to Blood Bank of Kızılay, Adana, were investigated by ELISA. Among the 336 vo-luntary blood donors 5 (1.5 %) were HBsAg positive, and 3 (0.9 %) were anti-HCV positive; among the 2.751 soldiers 119 (4.3 %) were HBsAg positive, and 8 (0.03 %) were anti-HCV positive. Anti-HIV 1/2 antibodies were found to be negative in all of the voluntary blood donors; among the 2.751 soldier 7 (0.025 %) were found to be positive by ELISA. However, with a corraborate Western blot assay all of the seven samples were found to be negative
