Hastane infeksiyonları ile ilgili eğitimin etkisi

Özet

Bu çalışmanın amacı, hastanelerde çalışan hemşirelere hastane infeksiyonları ile ilgili verilen hizmetiçi eğitim etkisini saptamaktır. Çalışma tanımlayıcı kesitsel bir çalışma olarak planlanmıştır. Verilecek hizmetiçi eğitimde hedefler belirlenmiş ve bunun için anlatım, demostrasyon ve video gösterisi yöntemleri kullanılmıştır. Hemşirelerin hastane infeksiyonları ile ilgili bilgileri ve eğitimin etkinliği bir form düzenlenerek, hemşirelerin eğitim öncesi ve sonrası doldurmaları sağlanmıştır. Çalışmada hemşirelerin hastane infeksiyonları ile ilgili bilgilerinin başlangıçta yetersiz olduğu ve uygulanan hizmet içi eğitimin etkin olduğu görülmüştür. Bu nedenle hastanelerde hastane infeksiyon kontrol komitelerinin kurulması ve eğitim sürekliliğinin sağlanması gerektiği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

In this study, the efficacy of in-service education of nurses on hospital infections was investigated. The investigation was planned in sectional demonstrative basis. In the education programme aims were determined; verbal demonstrative and videoscopic methods were used. Nurses filled a questionaire before and after the education programme on hospital infection and efficiacy of education. It was seen that the knowledge of nurses on hospital infections was insufficient before the education programme, and the education programme proved efficient. It is concluded that an infection control commitee and educational continuity should be established in hospitals.
