Klinik örneklerden izole edilen 40 P. aeruginosa suşunda dereprese mutantlarm oluşumu makrodilüsyon yöntemle araştırıldı. Pseudomonas aeruginosa'nın ilk izolatlarında ve sefoksitin ve imipenemle karşılaşmış subkültürlerde seftazidim MIC değerleri incelendi. Subkültürlerin hiçbirisinde ilk izolatlara kıyasla seftazidim MlC'inde dört kat veya daha büyük bir artış bulunmadı. Sefoksitin ve imipenem ile indüklenen bu suşlar arasında dereprese mutantlar saptanmadı.
Abstract
Derepressed mutants of 40 P. aeruginosa strains isolated from various clinical specimens was investigated using macrodilution method. The MIC values of ceftazidime for the first isolates as well as for the subcultures previously contacting cefoxitine and imipenem were determined. There were no 4-fold or more increase of MIC values of ceftazidime for subcultures when compared with those for the first isolates and no derepressed mutants among these strains induced imipenem and cefoxitin.
