Özet
Bu raporda oral kavitede yerleşim gösteren bir aktinomikoz olgusu sunulmuştur. Klasik aktinomikozdan farklı görüntü sergileyen bu olgunun tanısı cerrahi eksizyon ile alınan doku örneğinden histopatolojik olarak konulmuş ve yüksek dozda, uzun süreli penisilin tedavisine iyi yanıt alınmıştır. Oral kavitede oldukça nadir rastlanan aktinomikozun bu bölgedeki infeksiyonların ayırıcı tanısında göz önünde bulundurulması önemlidir.
Abstract
This paper presents an unusual case of oral actinomycosis. Diagnosis was made by the histopathological examination of the specimen, and the patient was successfully treated by long-term high-dose penicillin administration. Although actinomycosis rarely occurs in the oral cavity, it should not be overlooked in the differential diagnosis of infections in this region.
