Özet

Araştırma, hemşirelik öğrencilerinin sosyal ağ sitelerini kullanma amacı ile iletişimbecerileri arasındaki ilişkiyi belirleme ve tanımlama amacını taşımaktadır.Araştırmanın evrenini, bir Hemşirelik Fakültesinde öğrenim gören öğrenciler,örneklemini ise tabakalı rastgele örnekleme yöntemi ile belirlenen 238 öğrenci oluşturdu.Kurumdan yazılı, öğrencilerden sözlü bilgilendirilmiş onam alındı. Veriler, YapılandırılmışSoru Formu, Sosyal Ağ Siteleri Kullanım Amacı Ölçeği ve İletişim Becerileri Ölçeği (İBÖ)ile toplandı. Öğrencilerin Sosyal Ağ Siteleri Kullanım Amacı Ölçeği ve İBÖ toplam puanortalamasının 38.69±17.49 ve 104.00±19.26 olduğu görüldü. Abstract

The study is aimed to determine the relationship between the purpose of nursingstudents for using social network sites and their communication skills and to carry theidentification.The population of this study consists of students who are enrolled at a Facultyof Nursing, while sample group includes 238 students who were selected through thestratified random sampling method. Written informed consent was obtained from theinstitution. Verbal informed consent was obtained from the students. The data werecollected through the Structured Questionnaire, the Scale of Aims of Use of Social NetworkSites and Communication Skills Scale (CSS). It is seen that average total score of studentsin the Scale of Aims of Use of Social Network Sites and in the CSS was 38.69±17.49,and 104.00±19.26.A statistically significant difference was found in the behavioral sub- dimension of CSS (p
