THE EFFECT OF AYYUBIDS ON MAMLUKS AND ANDALUSIA IN THE CONTEXT OF QURAN RECITATION

Özet

Makalede Eyyûbîler’in Kur’ân tilâveti ve kıraati hususunda Memlükler’le Endülüs’e etkisinedeğinilmiştir. Bu bağlamda ilk olarak Eyyûbîler’de Kur’ân tilâveti ve kıraatine dair birikim ortayakonulmuştur. Bu bilgiler ışığında öncelikle Eyyûbîler’in Kur’ân tilâveti ve kıraati bağlamındaMemlükler’e etkisi ele alınmış, sonrasında Endülüs’teki kıraat birikimine tesiri incelenmiştir. Araştırmanın amacı öncelikle Eyyûbîler’deki Kur’ân tilâveti ile kıraatine dair birikimi açığaçıkarmaktır. Çalışmanın diğer gayeleri ise elde edilen veriler ışığında Eyyûbiler’in Memlükler veEndülüs üzerindeki tesirini ortaya koymaktır. Makalede amaçlanan bir diğer husus ise o dönemdeKur’ân tilâveti ve kıraatine verilen öneme dikkat çekmektir. Araştırmalar sonucunda bahsi geçendönemde Eyyûbîler’de Kur’ân tilâveti ve kıraatinin son derece önemsendiği bu alana dair eğitimintıp ilmine yönelik tesis edilen medreselerde bile ihmal edilmediği; hükümdarlar, vezirler vetoplumun önde gelenlerinin bu ilme son derece ehemmiyet verip vakfiyelerinde mezkûr alanadair istihdâmı önemsediği sonucuna varılmıştır. İncelemede varılan bir diğer neticeEyyûbîler’deki söz konusu birikimin Memlükler ve Endülüs üzerinde etkisi olduğu sonucudur.

Abstract

In the article, the influence of the Ayyubids on the Mamluks and Andalusia on the recitation ofthe Quran is mentioned. In this context, firstly, the experience of the recitation of the Quran inthe Ayyubids was revealed. In the light of this information, firstly, the effect of Ayyubids on theMamluks in the context of the recitation of the Quran was discussed. Then its effect on theaccumulation of recitation in Andalusia was examined. The aim of the research is to reveal the knowledge of the Quran recitation in the Ayyubids.Other purposes of the study are to reveal the influence of Ayyubids on Mamluks and Andalusiain the light of the data obtained. Another point aimed in the article is to mention the importancegiven to the recitation of the Quran in that period. As a result of the research, it was stated thatAyyubids highly regarded Quran recitation in the relevant period, the education in this field hasnot been neglected even in the madrasahs established for the science of medicine, the rulers,viziers, and prominent people of the society gave great importance to this field and paid attentionto the employment-related to this field in their foundation. Another result of the study is thatthe accumulation in Ayyubids has an effect on Mamluks and Andalusia
