İlk olarak Fransa„da kurulmuş olan Jandarma teşkilatının Fransa ile rekabet halindeki Avusturya- Macaristan İmaparatorluğu‟na ihraç şekli Osmanlı İmparatorluğu‟ndan farklıdır. Jandarma sistemi Avusturya- Macaristan İmparatorluğu‟na fetih ve istila yolu ile geçerken Osmanlı İmparatorluğu bu sistemi gönüllü olarak uygulamaya başladı. İki imparatorluğun uygulama vesileleri farklı fakat ihtiyaçları aynı idi.
Abstract
The adaptation of gendarmerie system, which was first established in France, was different in Austria- Hungary and the Ottoman Empire because of the way this system was adapted in these two empires. While the gendarmerie system came to Austria-Hungary Empire through the French invasion, the Ottoman Empire voluntarily adapted it. The cause of this adaptation was different in these two empires but they both needed it.
