ŞER’İYE SİCİLLERİNE GÖRE 17. YÜZYILDA ANKARA’DA KİLİSELER VE MANASTIRLAR

Özet
İslâm toplumunda gayrimüslim vatandaşların hak vehürriyetleri ile can ve mal güvenlikleri koruma altınaalınmıştır. Zimmilerin mallarına, canlarına, kiliselerine vehalkına karşı herhangi bir kötü muamelede bulunulmayacağıbirtakım anlaşmalarla garanti altına alınmıştır. Bu anlamdaOsmanlı Devleti’nde gayrimüslim tebaanın hak vehürriyetleri korunmuş inanç ve ibadetleri noktasında dinikurumlarının mevcudiyeti devam ettirilmiştir. Osmanlı klasikdöneminin gelişimini sürdüren ticari kentlerinden biri olanAnkara’nın 17. yüzyıldaki gayrimüslim nüfusunu Ermeni,Rum ve Yahudiler oluşturmaktaydı. Kentte nüfusunçoğunluğunu teşkil eden Ermenilerin çoğunlukta olmak üzereRum ve Yahudilerin de ibadethaneleri bulunmaktaydı.Sicillerde tespit edilen kiliselere dair kayıtlar dikkatealındığında şehrin sakini gayrimüslimlerin yüz yıl içinde dinve ibadetleri hususunda rahat bir atmosfere sahip olduklarısöylenebilir. Bu noktada öncelikle 17. yüzyılda Ankaragayrimüslimlerinin ibadethaneleri sicillerin imkân verdiğiölçüde isimleri, konumları ve cemaatleri tespit edilmiştir.Sonrasında kiliselerin yüz yıl içerisinde geçirdikleri bakım veonarımlara yer verilmiştir. Son olarak ise kilise masrafları vekilise vakıfları ele alınmıştır. Sicillerde tespit edilenkiliselerle seyyahların notlarında bahsedilen kiliselerkarşılaştırılmış benzerlikler ve farklılıklar değerlendirilmiştir.Sonuç olarak bu makale ile Osmanlı klasik dönemindeAnkara’da bulunan kiliseler tespit ve tahlil edilerekgayrimüslim nüfusun 17.yüzyıldaki dini aktiviteleri ortayakonulmuştur.
Abstract
In the Islamic society, the rights and freedoms of non Muslim citizens, and the safety of life and property areprotected. It is ensured by a number of agreements that noill-treatment will be made against the property, lives,churches and people of the Dhimmis. In this sense, theexistence of religious institutions in the Ottoman Empireat the point of belief and worship of non-Muslim subjects,whose rights and freedoms were preserved, continued. Thenon-Muslim population of Ankara, one of the commercialcities that continued the development of the Ottomanclassical period, in the 17th century consisted ofArmenians, Greeks and Jews. In the city, there were alsoplaces of worship for Greeks and Jews, with the majorityof Armenians forming the majority of the population.Considering the records of the churches identified in theregistries, it can be said that the residents of the city, non Muslims, have had a comfortable atmosphere regardingtheir religion and worship within a hundred years. At thispoint, first of all, the names, locations and congregationsof the places of worship of the non-Muslims of Ankara inthe 17th century were determined to the extent that theregisters allowed. Afterwards, the maintenance and repairsthat churches have gone through in a hundred years areincluded. Finally, church expenses and church Waqif arediscussed. The churches identified in the registers andthose mentioned in the notes of the travelers werecompared and the similarities and differences wereevaluated. As a result, with this article, the religiousactivities of the non-Muslim population in the 17th centurywere revealed by determining and analyzing the churchesin Ankara during the Ottoman classical period.
