Özet
Giriş ve Amaç: Ülkemizdeki ilk cinsel ilişki yaşının giderek düşmesi, birden çok cinsel eş ve cinsel yolla bulaşan hastalık riskinin ergenlerde giderek artması serviks kanserinin önlenmesinde birincil korunmayı önemli kılmaktadır. HPV enfeksiyonu ile ilgili birincil korunmayı yapacak olanların sağlık personelleri olduğu düşünülürse; sunulan bu çalışmayla hemşirelerin HPV enfeksiyonu ve aşıları ile ilgili bilgileri belirlenerek HPV enfeksiyonu ve aşıları ile ilgili yapılması planlanan eğitim programına temel oluşturması amaçlanmıştır.Yöntem ve Gereçler: Çalışmada örneklem seçimine gidilmemiş olup (N=365), çalışmanın yapıldığı tarihlerde görev yapan tüm hemşireler çalışmanın örneklemini (n=222) oluşturmuştur. Abstract
Aim: Primary prevention of cervical cancer is gaining importance due to the gradual decrease in the age ofrst sexual intercourse in Turkey and the increase of sexually transmitted disease risk among adolescents because of multiple sexual partners. If it is thought that the primary prevention related to HPV infection be made by health personnel, the aim of this study is to determine the knowledge of nurses regarding HPV infection and its vaccines and to create the basis for a planned training program about HPV infection and vaccines.
