Özet

Bu çalışma Osmanlı İmparatorluğu'nda Tanzimat ve Meşrutiyet dönemlerinde halka eğitim götürme yöntemlerini inceleyerek, birkaç farklı yöntemin halkın eğitim seviyesini artırmada etkin rol oynadığını tespit etmektedir.

Abstract

This article examines the education methods employed by the Ottoman Empire to expand public education to all layers of society in the tanzimat (reorganization) and the constitutional monarch periods and illustrates that the employment of various methods were effective to improve the educational level of the public.
