Özet
Yirmi beş yaşında erkek hasta, sağ gözünde konjonktival korneal kitle ile kliniğimize başvurdu. Hikayesinde hastanın 4 yıl önce başlayan cilt lezyonları ile kseroderma pigmentozum tanısı aldığı öğrenildi. Eksizyon sonrası histopatolojik incelemede, kitle az diferansiye epidermoid karsinom olarak değerlendirildi. Hasta daha sonra ikişer ay ara ile 2 kez daha her iki gözden konjonktival kitle ve nüks için cerrahi eksizyon geçirdi. Bu olgu sunumunda, kseroderma pigmentozumda göz tutulumu ve tedavi seçenekleri tartışılmıştır.
Abstract
A 25-year-old patient presented with a corneal-conjunc-tival mass in the right eye. Medical history revealed that he was diagnosed with xeroderma pigmentosum 4 years ago. The histopathological examination after the excision of the mass revealed barely differentiated epider-moid carcinoma. The patient underwent two more surgeries for excision of conjunctival masses in both eyes and recurrence of the initial tumor. In this case report, ocular involvement and treatment options in xeroderma pigmentosum are discussed.
