Özet

Nötropenik enterokolit veya tifilit, barsakların nekrotizan inflamatuvar akut hastalığıdır. Elli bir yaşında, kolon adenokarsinomu tanısı ile sağ hemikolektomi uygulanan erkek hasta, adjuvan kemoterapi sonrası karın ağrısı, bulantı, kusma, gaz ve gaita çıkaramama şikayetleriyle başvurdu. Fizik muayenede, karın distandü ve hassasdı. Barsak sesleri hiperaktif ve rektal tuşede ampulla boşdu. İlk değerlendirmede lökositozu olan hastanın, takiplerinde nötropeni, ateş, günde 10 kez olan diyare gelişti. Bu bulgularla nötropenik enterokolit düşünülerek medikal tedavi uygulandı. Yatışının 12. gününde şifa ile taburcu edildi.

Abstract

Neutropenic enterocolitis, also termed typhilitis, is a necrotizing inflammatory acute disease of the bowel. Fifty one-year-old man who underwent right hemicolectomy, presented with abdominal pain, nause, vomiting and costipation following adjuvant chemoterapy treat ment. Physical examination revealed abdominal distantion and tenderness. Bowel sounds were hyperactive and rectum was empty on digital examination. While the patient had leukousitosis at the begining, he had suffered neutropenia, fever and bowel movement ten times a day at follow up. The patient diagnosed with neutropenic enterocolitis and medical treatment was given. He discharged on 12th days with full recovery.
