Araştırma, GAP Eğitim Yayım ve Araştırma Merkezine bağlı Akçakale İlçesi Tatlıca İşletmesinde, 18 adi fiğ çeşit ve hattının ot ve tane verimlerinin saptanması amacıyla 2003-04, 2004-05 kışlık ara ürün yetiştirme döneminde, tesadüf bloklar deneme deseninde 3 tekrarlamalı olarak yürütülmüştür. İki yıllık ortalamalara göre; çiçeklenme gün sayısının 146-129 gün, ana sap uzunluğunun 95-58 cm, yeşil ot veriminin 3267-1770 kg $da^{-1}$, kuru ot veriminin 804-403 kg $da^{-1}$, biyolojik verimin 1050-736 kg $da^{-1}$, tane veriminin 341-181 kg $da^{-1}$, 1000 tane ağırlığının 78.6-45.5 g ve hasat indeksinin %39.95-22.53 arasında değiştiği saptanmıştır. Harran Ovası koşullarında kışlık ara ürün yetiştirme döneminde Nilüfer, Uludağ, Farukbey-2001 ve Karaelçi çeşitlerin ot; Bakır-2001 ve Emir çeşitlerinin tane; K.ubilay-82 çeşidinin ise hem ot ve hem de tane verimi amacıyla rahatlıkla yetiştirilebileceği saptanmıştır. Ayrıca, 2558, 2637 ve 2639 no'lu hatların tane verimlerinin yüksek olması nedeniyle adı geçen bu hatların, ileride yapılacak ıslah çalışmalarında değerlendirilebileceği sonucuna varılmıştır.

Abstract

This experiment was conducted in the cropping seasons of 2003 to 2004 and 2004 to 20005 in the Harran plain, and the objectives of this study was to determine the herbage and seed yield of the 18 common vetch (Vicia sativa L.) lines and cultivars. The trail was established in a complete randomized block design with three replications at the Tatlıca Station of Agricultural Research Institute, which is located in Akçakale. County of the Şanlıurfa province. According to the two years averages, the days to flowering, steam length, fresh herbage yield, dry herbage yield, biological yield, seed yield, 1000 seed weight and harvest index varied from 146 to 129 days, 95 to 58 cm, 3267 to 1770 kg $da^{-1}$, 804 to 403 kg $da^{-1}$, 1050 to 736 kg $da^{-1}$, 341 to 181 kg $da^{-1}$, 78.6 to 45.5 g and 39.95 to 22.53 %, respectively. The study results clearly revealed that the dry matter and seed yields were significantly different among the cultivars and lines Common vetch ev. "Nilüfer, Uludağ, Farukbey-2001 and Karaelçi were superior for herbage yield and, Bakır-2001 and Emir yielded greater seed yield, and however Kubilay-82 produced higher for both herbage and seed yields than the rest of the lines and varieties under the Harran plains conditions. Moreover, the lines with the accession numbers of 2558, 2637 ve 2639, possessing greater seed yield, were selected for further assessment in the breeding program.
