Özet
Kursak; kuşların yemek borusu üzerinde bulunan, yiyeceklerin toplandığı şişkin organdır. Bu çalışmanın olgusunu, sokakta bulunarak yediği yiyeceklerin boyun bölgesinden dış ortama akması şikâyeti ile Fırat Üniversitesi Hayvan Hastanesi’ne getirilen bir güvercin oluşturdu. Güvercinin kursağında nekroz olduğu saptandı. Nekroze olan kursak operatif yolla ekstirpe edildi. Postoperatif muayene ve takiplerde güvercinin sağlık durumunun iyiye gittiği ve sonrasında tamamen iyileştiği tespit edildi.
Abstract
The crop is a swollen organ which is on esophagus of birds and where the food is collected. In this study, our case was a pigeon which was found in the street and brought to the Animal Hospital of Fırat University with the complaint that the food eaten had passed from the neck area to the outside. In this pigeon crop's necrosis was detected. The necrotic crop was removed by operative procedure. Postoperative examination and follow-up showed that the health status of the pigeon improved and healed completely.
