Özet
Türk hikâyeciliğinde Guy de Maupassantın etkisi yadsınamaz. Bu etkinin, en iyi hissedildiği yazarlardan biri Refik Halit Karaydır. Karayın hikâye sanatında hem içeriksel hem de yapısal düzlemde Fransız yazardan etkilendiği görülmektedir. İncelenen hikâyesinde, Maupassantın sık sık işlediği yöneten-yönetilen temasını yerelleştirerek Anadolunun kasabalarında yöneticilerin halka bakışları ve ehliyetsizlikleri yazınsallaştırılmıştır. Çalışma, Maupassant tarzı hikâyeciliğin genel özelliklerini ve bunun Refik Halit Karayın hikâyeleri üzerindeki etkisini araştırmayı amaçlamaktadır. Karşılaştırmalı edebiyat yöntemi ile her iki yazara ait birer hikâye incelenerek bu etki somut olarak gösterilmektedir.
Abstract
Guy de Maupassant s effect can not be denied on Turkish short story writing. One of the authors on which these effects are observed is Refik Halit Karay. It is seen that Refik Halit Karay is highly affected by Mauppasant both in content and structural level. In his analysed story, Karay, by adapting the governing and the governed theme that Maupassant usually dealt with, usually writers about the incapacities and treatments of the administrators towards the people in the towns of Anatolia. This work aims to research the general characteristics of Maupassant-style short story writing and their effects on Refik Halit Karay s stories. Through Comparative Literature Method , one example story from each writer has been analysed and these effects have been shown on concrete bases.
