Abstract

Objectives Today, wearable technologies are used in areas such as health, defense, education, fitness. Wearable technologies are most commonly used in healthcare. Wearable technologies in the field of health are on the agenda in Turkey as they are all over the world. Wearable technologies that monitor pulse and exercise for hypertension patients were examined in this study. Materials and Methods In this study, Analytical Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, which is one of the multi-criteria decision making methods, was used in products to be used in patient monitoring. AHP method is a decision-making method that enables the evaluation of criteria and alternatives composed to achieve a specified goal. This method is a method that is frequently used among decision problems in the literature and plays an important role in obtaining effective results. Results The products produced by many companies including Motorola, Adidas, Omron, Motiv provide effective use for hypertension patients. In the evaluation of these products, the weight of the product came first, and this criterion was followed by the number of sensor units, battery life, and water resistance. Conclusion Among the wearable health Technologies examined, the most suitable product for hypertension patients was selected. In this evaluation, the first priority brand has been Motiv brand.
