Sağlık turizminde termal turizm ve Spa-Wellness turizminin yeri ve önemi

Özet
Bu çalışma, sağlık turizminin bir türü olan termal turizm ve SPA-wellness turizminin sağlık turizmindeki yeri ve önemini belirlemek amacıyla yapılmıştır. Nitel araştırma olan çalışmada çalışma grubu amaçsal örneklem yöntemi ile belirlenmiştir. Veriler görüşmeler neticesinde toplanmıştır. Yapılan görüşmelerde katılımcıların termal turizm ve SPA-wellness turizm ayrımı hakkında bilgisinin olmadığı, bugüne kadar ihmal edilen bir turizm olduğu ve ayrıca tanıtımlar ile bu turizmin potansiyel olarak gelişmeye açık olduğunu düşündükleri tespit edilmiştir. Termal turizm ve SPA-wellness turizminin gelişmesi için öncelikle mevcut durum tespit edildikten sonra uygun stratejiler hazırlanmalıdır. Ayrıca hem Sağlık Bakanlığının ilgili çalışanlarının hem bu hizmeti sunan işletme personelinin hem de aracı kurum personelinin eğitilmesi ve turizmin gelişmesi için devlet teşvikinin sağlanması önemlidir.
Abstract
This study was conducted to determine the place and importance of thermal and SPA- wellness tourism which are type of health tourism. In the study with qualitative research, the study group was determined by the purposeful sampling method. The data were collected through interviews. During the interviews, it was determined that the participants have no clear information about the differences between thermal and SPA-wellness tourism and they think that it is a neglected tourism so far and they also think that this tourism is potentially open to development. For the development of thermal tourism and SPA-wellness tourism, appropriate strategies should be prepared after determining the current situation. It is also important to train both the relevant employees of the Ministry of Health, the operating personnel providing this service, and the intermediary institution personnel and it is also important to provide government incentives for the development of tourism.
