Özet
Genel tıpta cerrahi uygulamalarda sıklıkla kullanılanelektrokoter, cerrahi bistüri yerine geliştirilmiştir.Elektrokoter, her yönde ve basınçsız olarak kesebilenve daima keskin olan ucu ile dişhekimliğinde dar veulaşılması güç olan alanlarda büyük bir çalışma kolaylığısağlamıştır. Klinik uygulamada koterin ağız içindedoğru bir biçimde kullanılabilmesi için ağız dışındakideneme çalışmalarının önemi büyüktür. Bu çalışmada,deneme ortamında; akım dozu, kesme süresi vekesme hızının etkileri gözlenmiştir. Cerrahi bistüri velazere göre çok daha kısa sürede kesebilen elektrokoterikullanmada, deneyimin klinik başarı için önemliolduğu sonucuna varılmıştır
Abstract
The electrocauter frequently used in surgeries in general medicine is developed as an alternative to the surgical scalpel. With its eversharp tip and the capability of cutting omnidirectionally without the application of pressure, electrocauter has greatly facilitated the operations in limited and hard to reach areas in the field of dentistry. In order to be able to use the electrocauter in a proper way inside the oral cavity during clinical applications, training operations performed externally have a great importance. During this study, the effects of the current dosage, the cutting duration and the cutting speed have been monitored in experimental conditions. The conclusion was that, for clinical success, experience is of great importance in order to use the electrocauter which can perform the cutting operation in a much shorter time in comparison with the surgical scalpel or laser.
