TARIMSAL ÜRETİM FAALİYETİNDE ÇİFTÇİLERİN DUA RİTÜELLERİNİN ANALİZİ

Özet
Bu makale, tarımsal üretim faaliyetinde çiftçilere özgü dua ritüellerini nicel ve nitel yaklaşımları kapsayan karma modelle analiz etmektedir. Dua ritüelinin çiftçilik mesleğinde işgal ettiği yer ve doğurduğu sosyal organizasyondan hareketle meslek ve sosyoloji, olağanüstü durum ve meşruiyet teodisesi, din ve gündelik hayat, çalışma ahlakı ve din gibi kavramların karşılık geldiği sosyolojik zemin çıkartılmaya çalışılmıştır. Çalışma, hem nicel hem de nitel paradigmaya dayalı karma (mixed) model'e göre yapılmıştır. Nicel araştırmada anket tekniğiyle veriler toplanırken sorular faal olarak çiftçilikle uğraşanlara yöneltilmiştir. Nitel yaklaşımda ise veriler hem mülakat hem de katılımcı gözlem yoluyla elde edilmiştir. Karma modele dayanan çalışmada çiftçilerin tarım faaliyeti özelinde dua uygulamaları ve duaya ilişkin farkındalıkları yağmur duası, faaliyetlerine başlamadan önce besmele çekme, tohum, fide veya fidan ekerken dua okuma vb. pratikler bağlamında değerlendirilmiş ve yağmur duasına katılım oranı % 46,2 olmasına rağmen yağmur duasının gerekliliğine ilişkin olumlu tutum % 74 oranında ölçülmüştür. Diğer taraftan, bölgede uygulaması çok genel olmasa da ürünlerin soğuktan korunması için Kaside-i Bürde Hatmi gibi çiftçiliğe özgü belli bir cemaatsel pratik fark edilmiş ve bunun sosyo-kültürel dinamikleri hem mülakat hem de gözlemle yorumlanmıştır. Bu çerçevede kuraklık ve don gibi olağanüstü durumlarda dua etmek, bir sorun çözme yöntemi olarak okunmuş ve gözlemlenmiştir
Abstract
This article analyzes mixed model that includes both quantitative and qualitative approaches of prayer rituals special to farmers in their agricultural production activities. It is tried to be constituted the concepts which are equalled to sociological ground such as job and sociology, case of emergency and legitimacy teodicy, religion and daily life, work ethic and religion with reference to the important place and social organisation resultant of rituals of prayer in farming. The study complies with mixed model that is based on both quantitative and qualitative paradigms. In quantitative survey, while data was being collected, questions were directed to active farmers. As for qualitative approaches, data was obtained via both interview and participant observation. In studies based on mixed model, farmers’ agricultural activities, special to prayer applications and awareness, are evaluated in the context of rain prayer, reciting bismillah before commencing activity, praying while planting seeds, seedlings or saplings etc. and it is measured that although the rate of participation to rain prayer is % 46, 2, the rate of positive attitude related to necessity of rain prayer is % 74. On the other hand, though not quite prevalent in practice, it is noted that there is congregational practices that is peculiar to farmers such as reading the whole of Kaside-i Bürde for protecting products from cold weather and socio-cultural dynamics of this practice are interpreted by both interview and observation. Within this scope, in exceptional circumstances such as drought and frost formation, prayer is considered and observed as a problem solving method
