Özet
Bu makalede siyasi ve kültürel çevreyi tasvir ettikten sonra kısaca Suyûtî’nin hayatı ve eserlerine temas edilecek, eş-Şemârîh fî İlmi’t-Tarih’in tarih tasavvuru ve usûlüne dair bazı eski eserlerle mukayesesi yapılacak, daha sonra ise eş-Şemârîh’in tercümesi birtakım kaynak tespitleri, notlar ve izahlarla verilecektir.
Abstract
In this article having explained cultural and political atmosphere in which period of al-Suyuti was born, his life and works will be dealt with. It will be also made the comparison of his work “al-Shamarikh Fî-Ilm al-Tarikh” with other works in this field especially those dealing with the historiography and the perception of history. Finally, its translation with some notes and explanations will be added
