Bu makalede II. Murad'ın 1439 Belgrad muhasarası incelenerek, Osmanlı askerlerinin şehrin içine girmeyi başarmalarına rağmen iyi sevk ve idare edilememeleri nedeniyle kuşatmanın başarısızlıkla sonuçlandığı tespit edilmektedir.

Abstract

This article examines the 1439 siege of Belgrade by Ottoman sultan Murad II and argues that despite the infiltration of Ottoman soldiers into the city, failure on the part of commanders to position the Ottoman soldiers successfully prevented the capture of the city.
