Abstract

The resources, both above and below ground, of the colonized countries had a great share in the development of European states to the level they have reached today. The slave trade and the "human power" gained by this trade had a part in the development of these nations. The Europeans wanted to form a new empire on the ruins of the Roman Empire, and to use this empire against those they referred to as "the others' that is, those who did not belong to them and did not resemble them. The situation being so, the values, understand of life and world views of the "others" had no value at all. The European approaches every event and every kind of development from the aspect of religions concern and interests, and also displays a racist view which disregards rules of ethics. With this racist approach, the French First carried out slaughters of Oxidations, Britons, Basque, Corses, Germans and Catalans who still continue to exist on the land today known as France, in order to make them accept their own culture. Then later, they murdered over a million people in forcing colonies such as Algeria, Indochina, Madagascar...In this article, the murders carried out in the domestic and foreign colonies by the French have been presented from the words of French witnesses. In this way, the fact that the French, after the genocide in Algeria was brought up for debate in their parliament, declared that "these events should be left to the historians" and that the French Prime Minister, Lionel Jospin, turned a blind eye to the acceptance in the French National Assembly of the Armenian migration as genocide is proof that Europeans are still adopting a racist attitude to "the others". These hypocritical politics have been dealt with.
