Güncellenmiş Erken Aritmetik Testi’nin Geçerlik ve Güvenirlik Çalışması

Özet

Bu araştırmada, Van Luit ve Van Rijt (2009) tarafından geliştirilen Early Numeracy Test-Revised(Güncellenmiş Erken Aritmetik Testi)’ın Türk kültürüne uyarlanması amaçlanmıştır. Araştırma, geneltarama modellerinden ilişkisel tarama modelinde tasarlanmıştır. Araştırmanın uygulaması, resmi bağımsızanaokulları ile ilköğretim birinci sınıfta öğrenim gören toplam 251 çocuğun katılımıyla gerçekleşmiştir.Testin geçerliğine ilişkin madde güçlük, ayırıcılık indeksleri ve test istatistikleri yapılmıştır. Testin güvenirlikdüzeyini saptamak amacıyla KR-20, Spearman ve Guttman güvenirlik katsayısı hesaplanmıştır. Yapılandoğrulayıcı faktör analizi sonucunda da modelin, iyi uyum indekslerine sahip olduğu ve uygunluğununkabul edilir düzeyde olduğu belirlenmiştir. Elde edilen sonuçlar, Türk kültürüne uyarlanan bu test ile eldeedilen puanların geçerli ve güvenilir olduğunu göstermektedir.

Abstract

The aim of this research is conducting a reliability and validity study of Early Numeracy Test- Revised which was originally developed by Van Luit & Van Rijt (2009) in Turkish sample. Relational screening model which is one of the descriptive survey models was preferred for this study. Participants of the study were 251 children who have gone to formal preschools and 1st graders of primary schools. Item difficulty, item discrimination indices and test statistics were run for the validity of the test scores. KR-20, Spearman and Guttman reliability co-efficient were calculated for the reliability of the test scores. As a result of the confirmatory factor analyses, it was investigated that the model has good fit indices and conformity is on acceptable level. Results of the study shows that scores to from Early Numeracy Test- Revised is a reliable and valid test in Turkish context.
