Abstract
Purpose: The aim of this study was to determine the functional level of activity and postural control of anterior cruciate ligament reconstructed patients following rehabilitation and to compare the results, with healthy individuals. Material and methods: Ten male patients who were underwent ACL reconstruction with pateliar bone tendon bone autogreft and 10 healthy male subjects participated to this study. All subjects participated in recreational sports activities regularly. In 3rd, 6th and 12th months, the subjects were tested for static and dynamic postural control on KAT 2000 (OWM Medical, Carlsbad, California, USA) stabilometer. Lysholm scoring and single-leg standing tests were performed as well. Results: There was a significant difference only at 6th month closed eyes singleMeg balance test between operated and nonoperated limbs (p0.05). At the 3rd month, closed eyes single-leg balance test was significantly different between the patients and the control group. When the study group single-leg balance tests compared at the 3rd, 6th and 12th months, significant differences were found both on operated and normal limbs between 3-6th and 3-12th months (p
