Tavşanlarda genel anestezi

Özet

Bu çalışmada; ketamine, xylazine + ketamine, pentothal, xylazine + pentothal ve halothane anestezisinin yeterliliği ve güvenirliliği karşılaştırıldı. Çalışmada yirmibeş adet Yeni Zellanda Tavşanı kullanıldı. Her bir anestezik grubunun test edilmesi için, hayvanlar beş gruba ayrıldı. Pentothal, xylazine + pentothal ve ketamine'nin tavşanların anestezisi için uygun olmadığı görüldü. Halothane ile anestezi diğer anesteziklere göre çok iyi olmasına rağmen belirli ekipmana ihtiyaç duyulması gibi bir dezavantaja sahipti. Xylazine + ketamine kombinasyonunun diğer anasteziklere göre daha yararlı olacağı saptandı.

Abstract

In this study; the efficacy and safety of ketamine, xylazine + ketamine, pentothal, xylazine + pentothal and halothane anaesthesia were compared. Twentyfive New Zealand White Rabbits were used in the study. The animals were divided into five groups and the anesthetics were tested in each group. Pentothal, pentothal + xylazine and ketamine anaesthesia appeared to be unsuitable for anaesthesia in rabbits. On the other hand, halothane was supperior to the other anesthetics agent. This method had an disadvantage since it required an apparatus for application. However, combination of xylazine + ketamine was found useful to the other anesthetic agent.
