Özet
Bu çalışmada, karışım suyunun %1, %2 ve %3'ü oranlarında sodyum klorür (NaCl) ilave edilerek hazırlanmış çeşitli klorür konsantrasyonlarındaki beton numuneler içerisinde yer alan çeliğin korozyonu araştırılmıştır. Ayrıca, değişik NaCl konsantrasyonlarına sahip bu betonlara, çimento hacminin %10'u oranında silis dumanı ilave edilerek betonarme çeliğinin korozyonunda meydana gelen değişim incelenmiştir. Korozyon hızı deneyleri, klorür katılmış ve katılmamış beton numuneleri arasındaki galvanik akım ölçülerek gerçekleştirilmiştir. Beton numuneler içerisindeki elektrot potansiyellerinin zamana karşı değişimi de ASTM-C-876-91'e uygun olarak 90 gün süresince her gün Cu/CuSO4 referans elektrotu ile tespit edilmiştir. Yapılan çalışma neticesinde, NaCl oranındaki artışa bağlı olarak, betonarme çeliğinin korozyon hızında artış gözlenmiştir. Ancak, beton numunelere silis dumanı ilavesiyle betonarme çeliğinin korozyon hızının azaldığı, hatta kontrol numunesinden daha düşük seviyelere indiği belirlenmiştir.
Abstract
In this study, the corrosion of reinforced steel into the concrete samples with various concentrations of NaCl and obtained with the addition of NaCl which 1, 2 and 3% of the mixing water volume in the concrete structure was investigated. Additionally, the change on the corrosion of steel in the concrete samples with the addition silica fume 10% in the cement volume was explored. The corrosion rates were measured according to the galvanic current method on the samples. The corrosion potentials have been measured by applying ASTM-C-876-91 method for 90 days and using Cu/CuSO4 reference electrode. As a result of these experiments, it is found that the corrosion rate of steel in the concrete samples with various concentrations of NaCl has increased with the increasing of the portion of NaCl. However, the corrosion rate of steel in the samples has decreased with the addition of silica fume.
