Özet

Bu çalışmada farklı tasarım yöntemleri ile hazırlanmış sıcak karışım asfalt numunelerinin rijitliği deneysel olarak incelenmiştir. Numuneler hem Marshall hem de Superpave yöntemlerine uygun olarak sıkıştırılmıştır. Daha sonra numunelerin rijitliğini bulmak için “Üniversal Test Makinası” kullanılmış ve “ardışık 5 yüklemeli rijitlik testi” uygulanmıştır. Elde edilen rijitlik değerleri birbirleri ile karşılaştırılmıştır. Ortaya çıkan sonuçlardan, Marshall Yöntemi ile hazırlanan numunelerin, Superpave Yöntemi ile hazırlanan numunelerden daha rijit olduğu görülmüştür.

Abstract

In this study, stiffness of the Hot Mix Asphalt specimens prepared by different design methods were investigated experimentally. Specimens were compressed in respect to both Marshall and Superpave Methods. Then, to determine the stiffness of the specimens Open Loop Controlled 5 Pulse Test was applied by using Universal Test Machine. Obtained stiffness values were compared with each other. It was observed that the specimens prepared by Marshall Method were more stiff than the specimens prepared by Superpave Method.
