Abstract
In present study, Graphene oxide doped Perylene-3,4,9,10-tetracarboxylicdianhydride based organic nanocomposites prepared for various mass ratio(mGO/mperylene= 0.005, 0.01, 0.03 and 0.1) by the sol-gel process. The grapheneoxide was synthesized by modified Hummers method. The prepared organicnanocomposite samples were characterized by SEM, EDX, FTIR and Opticalspectroscopy techniques. Typical scanning electron microscopy (SEM) imagesindicate the presence of particles with different sizes from 432 to 841 nm. Theoptical band gap of the samples were determined from the diffused reflectancespectra and Eg values for undoped and graphene oxide doped (0.005, 0.01, 0.03and 0.1) Perylene organic nanocomposite were found to be 2.43, 2.68, 2.55, 2.57and 2.68 eV, respectively. This results evaluated that Graphene oxide dopedPerylene based organic nanosemiconductors can be producted by sol-geltechniques and this materials can be used for advanced technologicalapplications
