Early and late-term results of arthroscopic surgery on patients with gonarthrosis

Özet

Amaç: Artroskopik debridman için uygun hasta seçimine yardımcı olmaktır. Gereç ve Yöntem: Çalışmamıza modifiye ACR kriterlerine göre gonartroz tanısı aldıktan sonra artroskopik debridman ve menisektomi yapılan 90 hasta alındı. Hastaların fonksiyonel değerlendirmesi operasyon öncesi ve operasyondan sonraki 1. ay ve 1. yılda alınan Lysholm DizSkoru ve Vizüel Analog Skala (VAS) kullanılarak hesaplandı. Operasyo- nun 1. yılından sonra Tapper-Hoover skorlama sistemi kullanılarak hastaların geç dönem sonuçları hesaplandı. Analizler SPSS 18 programı ile yapılmıştır. Bu çalışma için Etik kurulu onayı Atatürk Üniversitesi Tıp Fakültesi Cerrahi Tıp Bilimleri Bölüm Başkanlığının 16.06.2010 tarihli 998 sayılı yazısına istinaden Etik Kurul Komitesinin 08.10.2010 tarihli 6 nolutoplantısında alınmıştır. Abstract

Objective: To provide guidance in the selection of the appropriatepatient for arthroscopic debridement.Materials and Methods: Ninety patients who were diagnosed withgonarthrosis according to modified American College of Rheumatology (ACR) criteria and who underwent arthroscopic debridement and meniscectomy were evaluated. Functional assessment ofpatients was made based on preoperative as well as 1 month and 1year postoperative results of the Lysholm Knee Score and the VisualAnalog Scale (VAS). One year postoperatively, the Tapper-HooverScoring System was used to calculate long-term results. Analyseswere conducted using SPSS 18 software.
