Applications Connected With Museums on Art Education Lessons in Elemantary Shools

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, müzede sanat (resim) eğitimi uygulamaları konusunda örnekler verebilmektir. Araştırma genel tarama modeli ile yapılmıştır. Veriler, “Müze Eğitimi ve Uygulamaları Dersi”ndeki uygulama gözlemlerinin sonuçlarından elde edilmiştir. Ayrıca bu çalışmada, makalenin yazarı tarafından daha önce yapılmış araştırma sonuçlarından da yararlanılmıştır. Verilerin sonuçları kısaca aşağıdaki gibi belirlenmiştir: 1. Müzede sanat (resim) eğitiminin, sanat eğitimi açısından ihmal edilmemesi gereken unsurlardan biri olduğu görülmüştür. 2. Bazı araştırmalara göre Türkiye’de müzelerin sanat eğitimi amacıyla tam anlamıyla kullanılmadığı söylenebilir. Sebeplerinden biri, sanat (resim) öğretmenlerinin çok önemli olan bu konu hakkında bilgilerinin olmamasıdır. Bu araştırmada elde edilen öneriler: 1. İlköğretim okullarındaki sanat öğretmenlerinin, müzede sanat eğitimi hakkında bilgi edinmeleri gerekir. 2. İlköğretim okullarındaki programın tanımlamaları, sanat (resim) eğitimi dersinin avantajlarını açık bir şekilde izah etmesi gerekir. Bu ders ve derslerdeki örnek uygulamalar gerekli olduğu için ders öğretim programının içerisine konması zorunludur.

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to give knowledge exemplars on the applications of the art education in museum. The study was carried out by survey method. Data were collected from the results obtained in the “The Lesson of Museum Education and Practice”. Besides, In this research the results of the research and observation made earlier by the article’s writer were used. The results of the data were determined to be as follows: 1. The art education in museum is one of the factors that should not be neglected in terms of art education 2. According to some studies, it can be said that the museums are not entirely used in the art education in Turkey. One of the reasons is that the art teachers do not have knowledge on this very important subject. Recommendations obtained from the research are as follow: 1. Art teachers in the elementary schools should acguire knowledge about art education in the museum. 2. Definitions in the present schedule in the elementary schools should be explained very clearly for the advantage of art education lessons. Since these courses and practical examples in the lessons are necessary, they should be included into the curriculum.
