Abstract
The current study sheds light on the economic, and social life conditions in one angle of the sprawling Ottoman country representing the area of Sinjar, which was an important part of Mosul, the Ottoman state, and in a critical era of rule-filled developments of the Ottoman Empire: which represented the era between .This study is regarded as an important and exciting area of research for the fact that it is an era filled with the developments of the rule of the Ottoman Empire. Moreover, there are other reasons for choosing this title to be the focus of the study such as distinguishing Sinjar district from the rest of Iraqi's other districts being described as the district of intense ethnic minorities and religious communities. It is also for the researcher's personal interest in the current topic and the natural conditions of life of this community and to know more about the economic relations of its members and the social life for the people of Sinjar despite their ethnic and religious differences. Moreover, it is because most of the research and studies that addressed this era were mostly limited to only political history, while neglecting other important aspects, especially concerning the economic, and social life conditions, on this basis of which no empirical historical study was published specific to this subject in the late Ottoman period
