THE NOVEL NAMED GULA ÇEMÊ PÊRRE IN THE CONTEXT OF THE MIGRANT LITERATURE

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to find out the elements of migrant literature in the novel named Gula Çemê Pêrre. Author, Munzur Çem, wrote his work in the context of migrant literature. That is why, the elements of migrant literature in the works are too many. A lot of information about migration literature was given from the boks, article written in this area before. Then it was revealed how these elements were processed in the work. Afterwards, it was found that many migration elements were used in the novel. Cultural shock is one of them. In the novel, migrants encounter a culture they do not know in Istanbul and experience cultural shock. Otherize is the another problem. Those who came to Istanbul before them do not want them and use an marginalization language. They also experience language problems. They can not easily socialize because they do not know Turkish. When they speak in Zazakî, others treat them like they made a big mistake. Young girls fall into the hands of malicious organizations
