POLITICAL AND LITERARY LIFE OF MIR IMAD AD-DIN HAKKARI AND A NEW DOCUMENT ABOUT HIS FATE

Abstract

Mir Imad ad-Din Hakkari is known both as one of the wise ameers of his time and as a talented poet. Although little was known about his life and poems until a few years ago, we now have a great deal of information, especially about his political life and struggle. However, despite all this extensive information, there is no definite information about his fate. In this study, the fate of Mir Imad ad-Din will be emphasized, depending on some newly discovered documents. The newly discovered documents are confirming and completing the information about the fate of Mir Imad ad-Din. In addition, some brief information about his political and literary life has been given. In the same way, some oral narratives about him in Kurdish Folklore have been passed on. In this context, some songs and stories related to him have been presented.
