Özofagus atrezisi ve pilor stenozu birlikteliği: Olgu sunumu

Özet

Özofagus atrezisi (ÖA) ile gastrointestinal sistemin konjenital malformasyonlannın birlikte görülmesi ihtimali yüksek olmasına rağmen hipertrofik pilor stenozu (PS) ile ÖA birlikteliği nadirdir. Pilor stenozu bulguları genellikle üç ile altıncı haftalarda ortaya çıkmaktadır. Beş günlük bir erkek olguda ÖA ve trakeo-özofagial fıstülle birlikte PS tesbit edildi. Primer özofagus onarımı, piloromiyotomi ve gastrostomi uygulanan olgu ameliyat sonrası beşinci gün sepsis nedeni ile öldü. Bu vaka takdimi, ÖA ile PS' nin nadir birlikteliği ve PS' nin literatürde bildirilenden çok daha erken ortaya çıkması nedeni ile sunulmuştur.

Abstract

Although there is a high concurrence of esophagial atresia (EA) with congenital malformation of gastrointestinal tract, hypeptrophic pyloric stenosis (PS) associated with EA is very rare. The findings of PS appear usually at 3-6th weeks of life. We report a five day-old boy who had PS associated with EA and tracheo-esophagial fistula. The patient who underwent primary esophageal repair, pyloromyotomy and gastrostomy died because of sepsis in the fifth postoperative day. This case report is presented since EA is rarely associated with PS and the PS symptoms in this case appeared relatively early when compared with the cases cited in the literature.
