Abstract
Odontogenic cysts are unique cysts due to having theimpact solely on oral and maxillo facial region.Radicular cysts, which are the most common type ofodontogenic cysts, are commonly located in theanterior of the maxillary sinuses. Most of these lesionsoccur as a radiolucent lesion affecting the apex of thetooth. Big odontogenic cysts filling up the maxillarysinus are rarely observed. In this case study, 24-yearold female patient with a complaint of swelling anddischarge at the left cheek is presented. At the end ofclinical examination and radiological investigation, amass that completely filled the left maxillary sinus, was observed. The mass destroyed maxillary sinuslateral wall in both inferior and superior. It fistulatedthe skin by extending to left infra orbital and buccalarea. It destroyed the maxillary sinus medial wall.Caldwel Luc Surgical procedure with endoscopicapproach was performed under appropriate antibiotictreatment to the patient. Histopathological diagnosisturned out to be compatible with radicular cyst. In theliterature, radicular cysts with fistula from the skin arenot very common. In the event of cases with latetreatment, it should be noted that radicular cyst canfistulate on the skin.
