Okul yöneticilerinin kullandıkları motivasyon yaklaşımları (Uşak ili örneği)

Özet

Bu araştırmanın amacı, kamu ilköğretim okullarında görevli öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre okul müdürlerinin uyguladıkları motivasyon yaklaşımlarını belirlemektir. Bu genel amaç doğrultusunda, okul müdürlerinin uyguladıkları motivasyon yaklaşımlarına ilişkin öğretmen görüşlerinin cinsiyet, branş ve kıdem değişkenleri bakımından anlamlı bir farklılık gösterip göstermediğini belirlemeye çalışılmıştır. Araştırmada tarama modeli kullanılmıştır. Araştırmanın evrenini Uşak il sınırları içerisinde bulunan kamu ilköğretim okullarında görev yapan 1669 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Örneklemini ise basit tesadüfi örnekleme yoluyla seçilen 300 öğretmen oluşturmaktadır. Bu araştırmada veri toplama aracı olarak araştırmacı tarafından geliştirilen “okul müdürlerinin öğretmenleri motive etme yaklaşımlarını belirleme” ölçeği kullanılmıştır. Ölçekte elde edilen veriler SPSS 17.0 paket programıyla analiz edilmiştir. Ölçeklerden elde edilen toplam puanların çeşitli değişkenler bağlamında analizinde bağımsız gruplar için t-testi, tek yönlü ANOVA testi, anlamlı farkın bulunması durumunda gruplar arasındaki anlamlı farkı belirlemek amacıyla Tukey HSD tekniğinden yararlanılmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, öğretmenlerin görüşlerine göre, okul müdürlerinin örgütsel ve yönetsel motivasyon yaklaşımlarını ve psikososyal motivasyon yaklaşımlarını çok düzeyinde kullandıkları belirlenmiştir. Bununla birlikte, öğretmen görüşlerinin cinsiyet, branş ve kıdem değişkenlerine göre anlamlı bir farklılık göstermediği tespit edilmiştir.

Abstract

The aim of this research is to designate the motivational approaches of principals according to the opinions of the teachers working in public primary schools. In the light of this general aim is determined whether the views of the teachers differ from one another with regards to factors such as sex, branch and seniority about the motivational approaches that the school principals implement. The survey method was used in the research. It is the 1669 teachers working in the public primary schools located in the borders of the city of Uşak that comprise the population of the research. The experimental people are composed of the 452 teachers who were chosen by simple random sampling. In this research was used the scale of "determining the approaches of school principals to motive teachers" which was developed by the researcher to be used as a tool to gather data. The data gathered in the scale was analyzed by the SPSS 17.0 package program. For the independent groups was used the T-test or the one-sided ANOVA test in the analysis of the total data gathered from the scales in the context of various factors, whereas, in the event of significant difference, it was the Turkey HSD analysis that was used to determine the difference between the groups. At the end of the research, according to the views of the teachers, it was determined that the school principals implemented their organizational and administrative approaches and their psychosocial motivational approaches to a great extent. Apart from this, it was determined that the views of the teachers did not differ according to the factors of sex, branch and seniority.
